Martial arts training is not a seasonal activity like baseball, basketball, or soccer. The principles and training continue throughout the year as the sport and art of martial arts are accumulative. Each set of skills learned at each rank build upon one another as the journey continues. Building skills and character for not just the mat but life itself.
Summer break is almost over and we are so excited to see all of our Taekwondo & Krav Maga students more regularly now that summer activities are coming to a close and schedules will be more regular. However, the hard work has not come to a complete stop for those of us who have been home more this summer!
Our Skills Clinic Fridays continued through July and will finish up at the end of this coming month. We’ve really enjoyed getting to hone those skills on Fridays with our students. Here is the schedule for the rest of the season:
On the 20th of this month our TKD students were able to put their skills to the test against our Southern Region Taekwondo America schools. So much hard work and skill was displayed by everyone and our students certainly did shine. We are so proud of all of you. Especially the 7 of you who competed for the very first time! Check out all those medals: click here to see a compilation of the images and videos we were able to capture!
Stay tuned for more exciting things to come in August! August: Saturday TKD Belt Testing,Spirit Week, Krav Maga Testing, Awards & Fight Night, POOL PARTY & More!
